They are heave weight and absorbant. Of course they are ridiculous expensive LOL. But why would anyone buy patches anyway? Any number of old clothes would work just as well.Still, these are some fine patches. They’d make a nice gift as part of a gun cleaning set maybe . . .As for the “Pro Shot Gun Care Lead Cleaning Cloth”, it’s a MUST HAVE, especially if you have stainless or nickle items. It’s a cloth impregnated with wax. I cut swatches and clean the outside surfaces with it. I had some rust spots on one item which it removed in 2seconds. The product description says it all:”Pro-Shot “Lead-Clean Gun Cloth” restores original luster while removing leading, carbon residue, burn rings, surface rust, plastic fouling, and tarnishing. Excellent for stainless steel finishes! Cloth can be cut to size or for patches for removing unwanted residue inside the chamber, cylinder, forcing cones, and the bore or choke area.
