Description Indian rosewood (Dalbergia latifolia) is a highly sought-after hardwood used in luthiery. It features a rich reddish-brown colour with darker streaks, excellent acoustic qualities, and a distinctive grain. The wood is dense, stable, and produces warm, resonant sound. For classical guitar fingerboards, AA-grade Indian rosewood is an excellent choice due to its visual appeal and sonic characteristics.
